Description
Of all the castles I visited in Scotland, this one had one of the most interesting histories of them all. It was overthrown repeatedly and eventually blown up to prevent it from becoming a Jacobite stronghold. In 2003 it was gifted to the National Trust for Scotland. As for the picture, finally had a little sun show up and just waited for that boat in the background to line up where I thought it looked rather nice.C&C always appreciated
